This
is an invitation to gather for a week of spiritual renewal
and fellowship in the pristine alpine lakes and meadows
of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
From a central base camp, these eight adventurous days
are dedicated to exploring together what is most important
in our lives, to open ourselves into the rhythms of nature,
to the community, and to absolutely having a great time
with each other in one of the most beautiful vistas in
all the Sierra. I have been returning here year after
year with people of all ages and physical capacity since
1977.
I will be leading the group with an emphasis on letting
the week grow organically, allowing ourselves to listen
gently, yet deeply, to what is next. With packhorses carrying
in our gear, we will walk or horseback ride (optional)
to our base camp. Nestled within a series of delicate
high alpine lakes, we will have an abundance of time for
walks, meditations, group sharing, ritual, and personal
solitude.
Dates: August 14-21, 2010. Meet on Saturday afternoon,
August 14th, at Hunewill Guest Ranch (founded
1861), Bridgeport, CA. Pack in on Sunday to base camp,
and return Saturday afternoon, August 21st.
Fee: $1250.00. The fee does not include transportation,
or personal camping gear. Enrollment: $250 deposit. The remainder is due 30 days prior to
departure. Please contact me for more information.
